Time Flies When You're Having A Good Time

Starting and maintaining this blog has given me a new appreciation for bloggers and a way to exercise my writing muscles.

Looking back on starting this blog, I may have sold myself short. Since I've started writing for it, I've met a lot of people that play games even less than I do!
I found that I have more intel than I originally realized, and it really highlighted how ostracized you can feel in the gaming community. I was SURE when I said I was a "noob" that I really was but come to find out that spectrum is a lot bigger than I originally realized!
So, were indie games ultimately better? Are AAA games too intimidating? Do people feel alienated when it comes to the gaming community? Perhaps these questions will never fully be answered, and maybe they're meant to be continually explored!
I feel good that I have the knowledge of games that I do under my belt, and I feel confident that I help people find and feel comfortable within certain gaming communities.
It's not always about killshots, and speed runs, sometimes it's about taking a break or gaining a new perspective. In the game world, there's something for everyone.

Though this was a massively rewarding experience for me, I just accepted a full-time job, will be graduating in May, and have moved 3 1/2 hours away from home. That being said, I will not be continuing the blog for now.
BUT NEVER SAY NEVER!
It's highly possible that when I feel like I have my life in a routine again that I will return. I feel like I barely scratched the surface in terms of helping people find the right games, critiquing the current games available, and challenging the gaming industry. There's a lot of work left to do and I don't tend to be someone that leaves work unfinished!
There's always time for games, and there's always time to blab about how you felt about playing them - so for now, it's Game Over, but later on? Maybe I'll start a new save file.
Thanks for reading, and GAME ON!
